EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The AI Training work shop jointly organized by UNESCO Campus Africa and the SIMAD AI Institute rought together more than forty representatives from universities across Somalia for a day of learning reflection, and innovation. Held on October 7, 2025, at the Amara Hotel in Mogadishu, the workshop created a rare space where academics ICT leaders, and administrators from diverse institutions gathered with a shared purpose to understand how Artificial Intelligence is reshaping the future of higher education.
